Amap applies for registration of 'GPT'-related trademarks

Beijing (ZXZC)- Chinese navigation service developer AutoNavi Software Co., Ltd., recently applied for the registration of two trademarks, "Gaode ChatITS" under the transportation storage and website services category, and “Gaode ITSGPT” (“Gaode” translated to Chinese pinyin) under the scientific instruments category.

Currently, both trademark applications are still pending, according to Chinese corporate database Tianyancha.

AutoNavi is the owner of Amap, the popular map navigation product in China. It is a leading provider of digital map content, navigation, and location services solutions. Amap holds the highest level of qualification for navigation electronic map surveying and internet terminal service mapping.

On February 21, Amap officially introduced its integrated mobility service platform during a seminar on transportation system construction. This platform offers users a comprehensive travel gateway, aiming to provide personalized and optimized travel experiences. It also facilitates the transportation industry with integrated travel planning, leveraging Amap's intelligent transportation and other technical capabilities to achieve optimal efficiency.

Currently, Amap's integrated travel service platform covers a wide range of urban and intercity transportation services. It encompasses buses, subways, taxis, ride-sharing services, bicycles, motorcycles, trains, long-distance buses, airplanes, as well as supporting services like vehicle charging and refueling, all integrated through an aggregation model.

The recent trademark applications for "Gaode ChatITS" and "Gaode ITSGPT" suggest that Amap is expanding its service offerings and exploring new opportunities in the transportation and scientific instruments sectors.
