The milestone vehicle, the AITO M5 intelligent driving edition, is the first model equipped with the Huawei ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving system and the HarmonyOS 3.0 smart cockpit system.

AITO has accomplished this feat in just 15 months, from the commencement of vehicle deliveries on March 5, 2022, until the production of the 100,000th vehicle on May 27, 2023. Notably, it has outpaced such new energy vehicle startups like NIO and XPeng, who took 35 and 34 months respectively to achieve the same milestone, while Li Auto used less than 24 months.

Since the beginning of SERES Group and Huawei’s collaborative partnership in 2021, the duo jointly designed the "Huawei Smart Selection" cooperation model. Under the model, SERES Group is responsible for vehicle development, intelligent manufacturing, services, and end-to-end ownership experience. Meanwhile, Huawei, as a crucial software integration provider in the SERES automotive ecosystem, powers the industry chain with core software and hardware technologies such as electrification and intelligent components.

Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei’s Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit, highlighted that AITO's production achievement of 100,000 vehicles in 15 months validates the success of the "Huawei Smart Selection" cooperation model.

In the first four months of this year, AITO delivered 4,475, 3,505, 3,679, and 4,584 vehicles respectively, showcasing a significant contrast to the previous year's monthly deliveries, which exceeded ten thousand units.
