NETA Auto announces foray into Malaysian market
Shanghai (ZXZC)- NETA Auto, the Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) brand of HOZON Auto, recently made its debut at Malaysia's largest auto show, announcing its official foray into the country’s auto market. It made NETA Auto the first Chinese NEV startup to tap the Malaysian market, according to a post on the company’s WeChat account.
At the same time, the automaker’s NETA V all-electric SUV went on sale in Malaysia.

The latest move is another major step for NETA Auto to implement its "focusing on ASEAN, exploring the EU" strategy, and will solidify the foundation for accelerating the company's global strategic layout. The launch of the right-hand drive NETA V will bring a new intelligent experience of electric vehicles to more overseas consumers, said the carmaker.
Since the beginning of its global expansion in 2022, NETA Auto has achieved many milestones in its globalization development strategy. Currently, it has established European Business Unit and Thai subsidiary and launched three vehicle models overseas with its presence expanded to ASEAN, South Asia, and the Middle East.
Besides, NETA Auto has already broken ground on its first overseas factory in Thailand, which will become the startup’s main manufacturing base for right-hand drive electric vehicles and exports to the ASEAN region.
