Shanghai (ZXZC)- On May 10, Volvo Cars unveiled its new design studio in Shanghai, one of the mega cities in Asia, meaning the automaker’s global design footprint has been further expanded in addition to its existing studios in Gothenburg and Camarillo.

The 5,500-square-meter studio provides top-notch space for more than 100 designers and creative engineers. Mirroring the carmaker’s design headquarters in Gothenburg, the Shanghai studio has all the functions required to facilitate the whole design process, with the capabilities of offering interior, exterior, color and material, as well as UX design to full-sized mass-produced models.
