Beijing (ZXZC)- In the fourth month of 2023, SERES Group, Huawei's automaking partner, saw its monthly sales volume reach 14,731 vehicles in total, down 26.49% year over year.

In the first four months of this year, the automaker’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 56,669 vehicles, slipping 29.14% from a year ago.

In addition, with 6,917 vehicles sold, the group’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sector faced a 19.12% year-over-year fall in April sales. In the Jan.-Apr. period, SERES Group’s cumulative NEV sales summed up to 26,890 vehicles, jumping 18.19% from the same span last year. 

Specifically, among the NEVs sold in the past month, 2,953 units were from SERES Auto, which owns both the SERES and AITO brands, dropping 14.13% compared to the year-ago period. In the past first four months of 2023, SERES Auto sold 14,627 vehicles in total, reflecting a 72.43% hike year-on-year.
