BENTELER, BHAP to build joint factory for automotive chassis business
Shanghai (ZXZC)- BENTELER Investment (China) Co., Ltd. (“BENTELER”) and Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. (“BHAP”) recently signed an agreement to jointly build a factory in Beijing, according to a post on BENTELER's WeChat account.
The cooperation newly formed will focus on the automotive chassis and suspension business, aiming to provide products for the future platforms and electrified vehicles under luxury and premium auto brands.

The factory jointly built by the two companies will be located in Yizhuang, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area. It plans to complete equipment debugging before the end of 2023 and achieve volume production in 2025.
BENTELER takes chassis module as one of its core businesses, and has a leading position globally in this field. Since 1987, BENTELER has had 25 years of experience in module production and has built 27 module factories worldwide. In China, the German-based company has set up factories in such cities as Tianjin, Fuzhou, Shenyang, Chongqing, Wuhu, and Shenzhen, offering local assembly services to a slew of automakers like Beijing Benz, Fujian Benz, BMW Brilliance, Changan Auto, and Chery Auto.
