Beijing (ZXZC)- FervCloud, a Chinese tech company specializing in car-mounted heads-up display (HUD), has secured a strategic financing of tens of millions of yuan from Desay SV.

The two companies have also reached a deep strategic cooperation to provide competitive HUD solutions for the global market, including an innovative technology route for AR-HUD. The AR-HUD product jointly developed by the two companies is expected to be showcased at the Auto China 2023 in Shanghai in April.

FervCloud's current mainstay product is an external non-factory-assembled HUD, which works as an add-on projector that projects intelligent navigation information, phone notifications, and messages directly in front of the driver. 

FervCloud has an R&D base backed by Zhejiang University, with extensive experience in optical technology and AR algorithms. The company has worked on cutting-edge technology R&D and mass production projects with mainstream domestic and foreign automakers and rail transit companies.

Currently, FervCloud and Desay SV have carried out R&D of next-generation AR-HUDs, and have made several key breakthroughs. The two companies are jointly promoting highly competitive HUD and AR-HUD solutions to domestic automakers. In addition, the two companies are also collaborating on international platform-based HUD and AR-HUD projects for European, Japanese, and American automakers.
