Beijing (ZXZC)- In the second month of 2023, JAC Group sold 49,688 vehicles in total, representing a 40.32% jump from the previous month and a 41.57% surge from the previous year, according to JAC Group’s announcement issued on March 7.

In the first two months of this year, JAC Group’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 85,098 vehicles, notching down 1.8% year on year. 

Among the vehicles sold in February, 15,701 units were exported to overseas markets, which indicated an outstanding 171.22% soar compared to a year ago. In Jan.-Feb. period, JAC Group’s cumulative export volume reached 26,856 vehicles, hiking 68.59% year on year. 

In February, JAC Group’s passenger vehicle sector achieved a 68.23% year-over-year leap in sales, which came in at 28,757 units. Sales of JAC-branded sedan models were exceptionally high, soaring 712.55% from the earlier year to 15,219 units in February 2023. 

Moreover, monthly sales of JAC Group’s battery-electric passenger vehicles zoomed up 11.11% compared to the previous year to 11,390 units in February. In the first two months of 2023, JAC Group has sold 21,713 pure-electric passenger vehicles so far, indicating a 15.8% drop year-on-year.
