Aptiv inaugurates connection system engineering center in China’s Wuhan city

Shanghai (ZXZC)- On Mar. 1, 2023, Aptiv, which makes advanced driver assistance systems, saw its connection system engineering center in Wuhan city, the capital of China’s Hubei province, officially completed with the operation beginning at the same time, according to a press release from the company.

The latest move reflects the further enhancement of Aptiv's local engineering R&D capabilities in China, and marks another important milestone in the company's deep cultivation of the Chinese market and continuous promotion of its localization strategies.

The newly opened engineering center in Wuhan city is dedicated to the development of automotive electronic software and high-speed & high-voltage connectors for automobiles. Upon the completion of the new facility, it will continue to invest in research and development resources and improve its engineering team. It is expected that the R&D team will be expanded to more than 100 people in the next one to two years.
