Beijing (ZXZC)- On February 27, Chery Automobile launched the Mars Architecture - Super Hybrid Platform, and the Tiggo 9 SUV, which rides on the platform, at an event in Beijing.

As the latest achievement of the automaker’s "Yaoguang 2025" strategy, the Mars Architecture-Super Hybrid Platform represents a new generation of Chery Automobile's global high-end and leading hybrid/fuel vehicle platform, which clearly defines the direction of the company’s automaking in the next five years.

The platform is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and the self-evolving EEA 4.0 electrical and electronic architecture, which supports 5G and Gigabit Ethernet. Meanwhile, the new platform offers the Chery Pilot L2.9 intelligent driving assistance system, containing 21 basic ADAS functions and 11 advanced intelligent driving functions.

In terms of comfort, the new platform is installed with a CDC "magnetic levitation" suspension system, which allows users to precisely control the whole vehicle’s posture with an infinitely adjustable damping, improving the riding comfort by 30%. At the same time, the platform is equipped with AWD intelligent control all-wheel-drive system, which enhances the overall driving control by 20%.

Power wise, the new platform will come with both hybrid and fuel power solutions. Among them, the third-generation intelligent hybrid system offers a DHT peak power of 165kW, a maximum output torque of up to 4,000N·m on gear-3. Meanwhile, when driving on gear-1, the platform churns out a DHT peak power of 145kW.
