GAC Group to launch multiple new models in 2023
Shanghai (ZXZC)- GAC Group plans to roll out a number of new models across most of its brands, as part of the efforts to achieve a double-digit year-on-year growth in its annual vehicle output and sales for the year of 2023, according to a post on the group’s WeChat account.
GAC AION will launch some annual models for its AION series. In addition, three new models under Hpyer, GAC AION’s high-end brand, will hit the market this year, including the Hyper SSR and the Hyper GT, both of which have already made their debut.

As the second Hyper-branded model, the Hyper GT rides on the new-generation BEV-dedicated platform AEP 3.0 and the Xingling E/E architecture.
GAC Trumpchi plans to introduce one all-new model and two PHEV models this year. Presale of the all-new Trumpchi GS3 (Chinese name: GS3 Yingsu) SUV started on Feb. 20 with a price range of 88,000 yuan to 112,000 yuan ($12,760-$16,230).
As for joint ventures, GAC Honda put two new models, namely, the ZR-V e:HEV and the Integra HATCHBACK, onto the market in Feb. this year, which will be followed by many other heavyweight models.
GAC Toyota intends to launch and upgrade a total of 12 hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) models in 2023. In the full-electric vehicle sector, the bZ brand will release a new model co-developed by GAC Group, Toyota Motor, and GAC Toyota.
Moreover, GAC Toyota will introduce the second-generation MIRAI fuel cell sedan model this year.
