Beijing (ZXZC)- On February 15, Horizon Robotics and Chinese car light producer Changzhou Xingyu Car Light Co., Ltd. (Xingyu Car Light) inked a strategic cooperation agreement to develop mass-produced integrated smart driving/parking solution.

Currently, the integrated driving/parking solution developed by Xingyu Car Light based on Horizon Robotics' Journey 3 automotive-grade chip has officially been selected by a leading Chinese automaker for mass production in 2023. 

The solution utilizes only one Journey® 3 chip and a 5R6V sensor configuration to achieve Level 2+ driving assistance functions. Through software and algorithm optimization, the computing resources of the system are time-shared, enabling the integration of parking and driving assistance functions on the same SoC chip. Its unique software architecture fully taps into the potential of the Journey 3, providing cost-effective products to entry-level vehicles.

In the future, Xingyu Car Light will continue to expand its smart driving product lineup. In addition, development of the company’s intelligent vision controller product, which also uses a single Journey 3 chip, is underway. Leveraging the company’s 30 years of experience in automotive lighting, this controller combines visual perception technology with intelligent lighting control ability to provide users with enhanced product experiences. Additionally, Xingyu Car Light is also developing a high-performance computing platform product, which is equipped with multiple Journey series chips. The platform is designed to support high-level intelligent driving and intelligent control functions such as pilot assisted driving, memory parking, intelligent light control, etc.
