Beijing (ZXZC)- On January 30, XPeng announced that the renowned veteran in China’s automotive industry, Ms. Wang Fengying, joined the startup as its president.

Ms. Wang will be fully responsible for the company's product planning, product matrix, and sales system, and will report directly to He Xiaopeng, chairman and CEO of XPeng Inc. 

“We warmly welcome Ms. Wang Fengying to join us," said He Xiaopeng, “over the past three decades, Ms. Wang has built one phenomenal product after another that was well recognized by the market with her profound industry experience and practice. We look forward to her addition to bring different sparks to the integration of ‘intelligence + automotive’. The next five years will be the era of fully autonomous cars, and the next decade will be of driverless cars. XPeng will continue to firmly implement its intelligent strategy. We also believe that the introduction of outstanding talents like Wang Fengying will provide stronger management support for the company to grow steadily.” 

Prior to joining XPeng, Ms. Wang worked for Great Wall Motor for over thirty years, starting from sales, and worked her way up to vice chairman and president. Wang Fengying resigned from Great Wall Motor in July 2022.
