Chery so far ships 2.4 million vehicles overseas
Beijing (ZXZC)- During the just ended Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, Chery Holding Group (Chery) successively shipped 24,000 vehicles to eleven countries in Europe, Central Asia, Australia, and South America, the automaker disclosed on January 30.

In 2022, Chery exported roughly 452,000 vehicles in total, representing a 68% year-on-year hike, while also allowing Chery to maintain its top-ranking position regarding annual exports among all Chinese indigenous passenger car brands for 20 consecutive years.
In order to bring quality products and services to global customers, Chery has been vigorously investing in the layout and deployment of its high-end brands and products in overseas markets in recent years. The several popular vehicle models, such as the Tiggo 8, the Tiggo 7, the JETOUR X70, etc., are welcomed by overseas consumers. Notably, the Tiggo 8 has been used as the reception car for state guests in Brazil and other countries for many times.
Up to now, Chery’s cumulative export volume has surpassed 2.4 million vehicles.
In 2022, the auto group’s annual revenue exceeded 200 billion yuan for the first time ever. Meanwhile, its annual sales volume also surpassed the 1-million mark to 1.23 million vehicles.
So far, Chery has accumulated more than 11.2 million car users worldwide, 2.4 million of which were overseas users.
