In 2022, Dongfeng AEOLUS sold a total of 190,587 vehicles, representing a 58% surge year-over-year. The company sold over 6,000 vehicles overseas in the past year. Meanwhile, the cumulative installation volume of AEOLUS' signature Mach Power 1.5T engine reached the 100,000-unit mark in a year.

AEOLUS disclosed that aside from the oil-fueled Mach Power engine, the company also has plans to lay out in the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle and battery-electric vehicle segments, which will take shape in 2023.

In terms of product strategies, AEOLUS focuses on both the general consumer market and the mobility service market.

In the past year, AEOLUS launched the Haoji SUV, which targets the younger-generation consumers. As the first SUV model to be powered by the Mach dual-motor hybrid system, the Haoji scored an impressive sales volume of 10,745 units in one month after it went on sale on September 26, 2022.

In addition, AEOLUS' E70 battery-electric sedan has also been leading China's mobility service-use market regarding auto registrations. In August 2022, the automaker put a new version, the E70 PRO, onto the market, providing better power, quality, and design for ride-hailing service companies.
