ARCFOX’s KAOLA sub-brand to launch first baby care EV on Jan.9
Beijing (ZXZC)- On January 4, ARCFOX’s sub-brand, KAOLA, disclosed via its Weibo account its first production vehicle model, which falls in the innovative baby care mobility category, will make its debut on January 9.

The vehicle, possibly named the HOEN O2, is positioned as an intelligent child care vehicle, is already included into the catalogue of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The baby care-oriented vehicle model is also enabled with battery swap function.
According to information released by the MIIT, the HOEN 2 features a cute design that comes in various color options. The electric vehicle measures 3,806mm long, 1,740mm wide, and 1,550mm tall, with a 2,520mm wheelbase, paired with 195/45R17 or 215/35R18 tires.
Power-wise, the HOEN 2 will be installed with an electric motor that churns out a maximum power of 80kW. The standard version of the model will come with ternary lithium batteries while the battery-swappable version will ride on lithium iron phosphate batteries.
The brand KAOLA was firstly mentioned by BAIC Group at the 2022 WNEVC (World New Energy Vehicle Congress) in August last year. At the time, the automaker disclosed that the brand would be focusing on a specific market segment and using scenario, and it was expected to be officially introduced to the public in 2023. More information about the KAOLA brand and its product will be disclosed on January 9.
