Beijing (ZXZC)- SERES Auto, Chinese ICT giant Huawei’s first official automaking partner, saw its monthly auto registrations reach 9,087 vehicles in the tenth month of 2022, according to the data compiled by ZXZC Auto Research Institute (GARI).

Owning two auto brands, namely, SERES and AITO, SERES Auto is affiliated to SERES Group, which was formerly known as Chongqing Sokon Industry Group. The two auto brands all have Huawei as their partner.

In October, the SERES SF5 was registered by 9 units across China, with 2 units each in Shanghai, Dezhou, and Chongqing, and one unit each in Foshan and Zibo.

In the past month, the AITO M5 (REEV version) recorded a monthly registration volume of 3,702 vehicles, slipping down 31% over a month ago. Shenzhen registered the most M5s at 414 vehicles. As to the pure-electric variant of the M5, the M5 EV, a 500% month-over-month soar was encountered by the model’s October registrations across China. 

Meanwhile, AITO’s latest higher-end creation, the M7, witnessed a robust month-on-month growth of 45% in its monthly registration volume, which came in at 4,705 units. With 184 M7s registered, Beijing was crowned the top 1 city regarding M7 registrations in October among the 190 cities where the model was registered in.

When it comes to overall registration volumes of SERES vehicles, Shenzhen was the champion city in October, with 1,022 vehicles registered, which was far beyond the runner-up city, Shanghai, who saw a monthly registration of 704 units. 

Among the top ten cities list, there were four provincial capitals and such metropolises as Shenzhen, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Beijing, indicating AITO’s broad brand acceptance in big cities in China.
