Audi improves China deployment with new R&D center in Beijing
Beijing (ZXZC)- German Auto giant Audi saw its China R&D team allocate to its new R&D building in Beijing, marking another milestone in the automaker’s over three decades of development in China.

Equipped with advanced infrastructure, the new Audi China R&D center will carry the responsibility of further enhancing Audi's local R&D and production capacity in China, and become an innovation center for it to explore future-oriented technologies. Through the close cooperation with the German headquarters, Audi’s China R&D team will focus on the development of smart cockpit, forward-looking user interface, digital connectivity services, Audi's unique new electronic architecture features, and advanced driver assistance systems to accelerate technological innovation for the Chinese market.
According to Audi, the new R&D center is five floors tall, stretching over 6,000 square meters. Four floors of which are office areas, housing all of Audi’s R&D team in China. With seven divisions, the new center holds end-to-end complete vehicle R&D capability.
The building is fully equipped with professional facilities, including the exclusive laboratory of Audi China’s design team equipped with advanced digital tools, a studio focused on digital connectivity development, functional model design laboratory, electronic function development and testing laboratory, and a showroom for Audi's iconic cars on the ground floor.
