Beijing (ZXZC)- China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (Beijing) Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CICV) recently inked a cooperation agreement with ICT giant Huawei for the Intelligent Automotive OptiX industry development.

Intelligent Automotive OptiX is a scenario-oriented solution that integrates ICT light technology and the automotive industry. It mainly refers to key technology applications such as light source, imaging chips, space optics, and optical algorithms, resulting in products such as AR-HUD, smart light display, smart car lights, and others. The solution focuses on key features such as safe driving assistance, and intelligent interactions. It contributes to the innovations in the intelligent connected vehicles field, and meets the increasing demands of on-board display.

Per the agreement, the two parties will focus on motivate upstream and downstream enterprises within the intelligent connected vehicle industrial chain to form an organization and platform for Intelligent Automotive OptiX system, conducting monographic studies in view of the generality issues in the industry’s development. 

The partners will host industry summits, salons, forums, and other activities, to facilitate the construction of related standards and assessment systems, accelerate the industry’s development, promote the application of onboard lighting technology and products to further enhance the intelligence and safety of intelligent connected vehicles.
