Shanghai (ZXZC)- HOZON Auto has delivered the first batch of the right-hand-drive NETA Vs to Nepalese users, marking its entry into the South Asian markets, according to a press release the Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) startup recently issued.

HOZON Auto's offensive into Nepal is part of the results from the cooperation with CG Motors, an NEV-dedicated venture of the Nepalese multinational conglomerate CG Corp Global. Both parties forged the partnership in April 2022.

Aside from the NETA V, CG Motors will introduce the NETA S and the NETA U in the future to satisfy the Nepalese NEV market's demands.

HOZON Auto put the right-hand drive NETA V officially onto the Thai market on August 24, making it the first Chinese NEV startup to enter the country.

The company's first overseas direct-sale store opened for business in Thailand on September 2.

The Thai-spec NETA V is equipped with a 70kW electric motor capable of 150 N·m. It can zip from 0 to 50km/h within only 3.9 seconds and features an NEDC-rated range of 384km.

Following the NETA V, HOZON Auto plans to introduce at least one EV model per year into the Thai market, including sedans and SUVs. The automaker expects to deliver 3,000 NETA Vs in Thailand cumulatively by the end of this year.
