Dongfeng Fengshen accomplishes annual overseas sales target ahead of schedule
Beijing (ZXZC)- On September 15, Dongfeng Motor announced that its wholly-owned passenger vehicle subsidiary Dongfeng Motor Corporation Passenger Vehicle Company (DFPV), who owns the brand Fengshen (AEOLUS), successfully accomplished its annual overseas sales target.

Under the impact brought by the epidemic and the chip shortages, DFPV’s overseas team worked to strengthen the organizational system, enhance product competitiveness, and improve overseas marketing ability, as well as make every effort to promote new models and secure orders. On September 13, DFPV successfully reached its annual overseas sales target of 3,000 vehicles with three months to spare.
DFPV’s overseas team has formed an "iron triangle" working mechanism dominated by DFPV, the company's technical center, and the company's international business division. The three parties cooperated in R&D, manufacturing, planning and marketing, overseas regulations, and other aspects to jointly promote the business targets of Dongfeng Motor’s wholly-owned passenger vehicles in foreign markets.
At the beginning of this year, DFPV has only one model, the Fengshen (AEOLUS) Yixuan, available for sale in the Middle East. After in-depth analysis of user needs, the overseas team optimized vehicle configuration and performance and improved R&D efficiency to boost sales abroad, with the AX7 and Yixuan MAX models successively developed and rolled off the production line.
Currently, the R&D of the all-new Yixuan, Yixuan GS, and other models are well underway, all of which will be gradually launched abroad, laying a solid foundation for DFPV to achieve its overall annual sales target of 200,000 vehicles this year, as well as helping it to make another breakthrough next year.
