XPeng’s Aug. 2022 deliveries jump 33% YoY
Shanghai (ZXZC)- XPeng Inc. (“XPeng”) announced today it recorded monthly deliveries of 9,578 vehicles in August 2022, representing a 33% year-on-year leap.
The company's August deliveries consisted of 5,745 P7 sports sedans, 2,678 P5 family sedans, and 1,155 G3i and G3 compact SUVs.
The EV startup said its Jan.-Aug. deliveries almost doubled over the year-ago period to over 90,000 vehicles.

In August, XPeng began accepting reservations for its G9 SUV. Order volume reached 22,819 units within only 24 hours after the preorder kicked off.
The startup's first S4 super-fast charging pile came online last month in Guangzhou. The facility can run at up to 480kW and 670A.
As of August 15, 2022, XPeng has already deployed 1,000 self-operated charging stations across China, including 799 supercharging stations and 201 destination charging stations, the startup said at the supercharging technology launch event.
Currently, XPeng's charging network has tapped all prefecture-level cities and direct-administered municipalities of China.
XPeng expects to build another 2,000 own-brand super-fast charging stations by 2025.
