The cooperation agreement specifies that the Liuzhou authorities will provide U Power with relative resources to settle in the city, including but not limited to funds, venues, and talent support.

In the meantime, U Power will continue to strengthen its product and technology development by leveraging local Liuzhou automotive industrial resources and advantages. Notably, Guangxi is located in southern China and is fairly close to the Southeast Asia region.

Li Peng, founder and CEO of UPower, said that the company will give full play to Liuzhou’s uppermost cost-effective comprehensive automotive industrial chain and the city’s geographical advantages, creating a win-win situation for U Power and Liuzhou city in advancing the local automotive industry. The company plans to explore the market demands of the Southeast Asia region.

As one of the startups in China focusing on skateboard chassis, U Power partnered with NVIDIA on March 23rd this year, to adopt the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion AV platform architecture to build its own HPVC (High Performance Vehicle Computer) on its UP Super Chassis. By integrating the systematic chip of NVIDIA DRIVE Orin, the said HPVC will be the first of its kind throughout the industry.
