Xiaomi, Baidu invest in automotive LED supplier Jinghe Tech
Beijing (ZXZC)- China’s automotive LED developer Shanghai Jinghe Photoelectric Technology Company (Jinghe Tech) announced the completion of its A++ funding round.

Jinghe Tech raised tens of millions of yuan in the round, which was led by Xiaomi’s investment fund and participated by its existing shareholder, Baidu Ventures.
The proceeds will be put toward the expansion of its production capacity and complementing the company’s cashflow.
Founded in 2011, Jinghe Tech is an automotive LED module system solution supplier, performing collaborative R&D, designing and manufacturing of digital and intelligent lights with automakers. The company holds core technologies in the intelligent LED module, lighting domain controller fields.
Currently, Jinghe Tech offers full-stack software/hardware products and services of photic modules, drivers, and ECUs. The company also has the production capability for matrix ADB headlight panels.
Its products have landed several large-scale mass production orders from various automakers, including more than twenty vehicle models from XPeng, BYD, GAC AION, Nissan, and Geely. The company expects roughly one million units of the intelligent light modules to be installed into vehicles annually.
In addition, Jinghe Tech has been nominated as a qualified supplier this year by such automakers as WM Motor, HOZON Auto, and Human Horizons, with 15 models using its products expected for mass production in the second half of 2022.
