Geely unveils images of all-new CMA-based SUV code-named FX11
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese automaker Geely Auto released official images of its all-new A-segment SUV model, code-named FX11, on Tuesday via its WeChat account. The model is expected to hit the market this year.
The FX11 will stand atop the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform co-developed by Geely and Volvo. The platform has also been used to underpin the Volvo XC40 and some models under the Lynk & Co brand.

The teaser photo shows that the FX11 features a chiselled front with an LED light signature stretching across the top edge and vertically down towards the sides of the front fascia. The imposing front grille adopts a design inspired by ripples.

The Geely FX11 strongly resembles the Vision Starburst concept Geely unveiled last year. Along the side, the in-vogue “floating roof” and two-tone body make the look even more prominent, with a character line swooping from the rear windows to the front wheel eyebrows.
Under the hood is Geely's Leishen Hi-X hybrid propulsion system, which features an engine with a 43.32% thermal efficiency, a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), 40% reduced fuel consumption NEDC rating, and full powertrain FOTA (Firmware Over the Air) update capabilities.
