The 011 has a limited supply of 500 units worldwide. Its design was built on AVATR’s first model, the AVATR 11. The AVATR 11 adopts the intelligent electric platform CHN, which is jointly developed by Changan Auto, HUAWEI, and CATL.

Currently, the AVATR 11 was listed on the latest Road Power-Driven Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products catalogue released by MIIT the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). This means that the vehicle has officially entered into the mass production process. According to the brand, the AVATR 11 will make its official debut at the postponed Auto China 2022, and start delivery in the third quarter of this year.

Overall, as one of Changan Auto’s attempts in the new energy field, AVATR carries a heavy burden. Early this year, the president of Changan Auto, Zhu Huarong, announced the company’s refreshed electrification goal, stating that it aims to sell 1.05 million new energy vehicles by 2025, accounting for 35% of the company’s annual new car sales. By 2030, Changan Auto plans to sell 2.7 million new energy vehicles, accounting for 60% of its annual sales.
