XPeng adds five new trims to P5, P7 lineups

Beijing (ZXZC)- On May 6th, China’s emerging EV startup XPeng announced several adjustments to its product portfolio, including configurations, price, and add-on services.

Specifically, XPeng will introduce a 460P trim to its P5 lineup, priced at RMB209,900 ($31,486) after subsidies. The subsidized prices of the existing 550P and 600P trim will be lifted to RMB225,900 ($33,886) and RMB249,900 ($37,486), respectively. 

Starting May 9th, the ADAS and upgrade services will come standard on the P5’s E/E+/P trims. 

At the same time, XPeng’s P7 lineup will see four new additions, namely 480G+, 480E+, 586G, and 625E. After subsidies, the respective prices of the four new trims will be RMB239,900 ($35,986), RMB262,900 ($39,436), RMB259,900 ($38,986), and RMB285,900 ($42,886). 

Starting May 9th, XPeng P7’s E/E+ trims will also come standard with ADAS and upgrade services. Moreover, in an effort to popularize and advance high-level intelligent assistant driving technologies, the automaker will open up its in-house developed solutions to some of the P7 E/E+ trims via OTA. The estimated receiving time for the OTA update is October.  

In addition, users who purchase the G3i, P5, and P7 models after May 9th will no longer benefit from lifetime free charging service, complimentary household charging piles, or free installation service.
