Beijing (ZXZC)- On April 22nd, Geely’s high-end electric vehicle brand ZEEKR announced an upcoming price adjustment to its only production model, the ZEEKR 001.

According to the brand, in line with other new energy vehicle makers, ZEEKR is also affected by the surging price of upstream raw materials. As a result, ZEEKR issued several modifications on the selling price and official discounts of the ZEEKR 001.

Specifically, only one of its three trim levels will see an increase in guidance prices, namely the super-long-range dual-motor YOU trim, by RMB18,000 ($2,782). After the increase, the price of the trim will be RMB386,000 ($59,668). 

Aside from the price rise, the official discount offered by ZEEKR will also be called off. Before the adjustments, users who put in an RMB5,000 ($773) deposit for the super-long-range single-motor WE trim and the long-range dual-motor WE trim of the ZEEKR 001, are entitled to an RMB5,000 ($773) discount on its final payment. Now, the promotion will be canceled. 

At the same time, the same promotion where users put in an RMB5,000 ($773) deposit for the super-long-range dual-motor YOU trim, and benefits from an additional RMB2,500 ($386) taken off its final price is also scratched.

The adjustments will be effective on May 1st. Users who put in the deposits beforehand will be subjected to the changes.
