Per the agreement, premium Hongqi vehicle owners will enjoy the same privileges as premium Air China customers, such as complimentary airport pick-up/drop-off, lounge access, and additional luggage check-in. In the meantime, Air China will launch a chauffeur service with Hongqi’s H9 high-end model, providing premium cabin flyers from designated flight courses with luxurious mobility experience.
The Hongqi H9 is the brand’s most-promoted model. Positioning as a luxury sedan, the H9 comes in five trim levels, priced from RMB309,800 to RMB539,800 ($48,176 to $83,942). Aside from China, the H9 is also sold overseas, including in the UAE.
According to the partners, users in Beijing will have their first taste of the service, with Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Changchun following.
Additionally, the two companies plan to share their membership points systems, providing more comprehensive exclusive membership services in the mobility and car-using fields. Overall, the duo aim to co-build a sustainable user ecosystem.
Furthermore, Air China employees will also benefit from the partnership. Hongqi claims that it will offer a discount for said employees for car purchasing.
