The Ziyoujia NV is the startup’s first attempt in the four-wheel motor vehicle world since its owner, Li Yinan, is known for the NIU company, his two-wheel electric scooter business.
The Ziyoujia NV is positioned as a luxury full-size urban explorer SUV, complementing users' daily commute and outdoor trips. The vehicle offers two power options built on its GEMINI power module system, namely battery-electric and extended range. The pure-electric trim allows a CLTC range of 550 km, while the extended range trim allows a CLTC range of 939 km.
Specifically, under a battery-only mode, the extended range trim can run up to 150 km. When combined with quick charge and private charging functions, the car is fairly convenient for every commute around town. When driving long distances, the range extension system can convert oil fuel into electric energy, adding another 789 km of range.
Moreover, the Ziyoujia NV comes standard with an iAWD intelligent dual-electric-motor all-wheel-drive system, supporting seven driving modes, including sport, off-road, and slippery road. Its high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor generates a respective maximum power output of 270kW and 280kW on the range extension trim and the pure-electric trim. The vehicle runs from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds.
