BYD’s Haibao (Seal) to offer up to 700km of range

The BYD Haibao (Seal), the newest member of BYD’s Ocean lineup, will offer three range packages, 550 km, 650 km, and 700 km. The new EV model has a projected price range of RMB220,000 to RMB280,000 ($34,553 to $43,976).

SemiDrive introduces new MCU product named E3

China’s auto-grade chip developer SemiDrive unveiled its latest product, the E3 MCU. The E3 has six CPU cores, four of which can run independently. The product fills the blank of the domestic automotive MCU market. According to SemiDrive, the E3 will be put into mass production in the third quarter of 2022.
