Shanghai (ZXZC)- The organiser of the 17th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2022), which was scheduled to be held from April 21 to April 30, has postponed the event due to a recent growth of COVID cases in China, according to a post on the Auto China's official WeChat account.

Auto China, the auto show's organiser, has not decided on a new date yet.

The Beijing International Automotive Exhibition is a biennial international automobile show that alternates with the Auto Shanghai as China's yearly international automotive exhibition. As of 2020, it had been successfully held for 16 times.

The splendid auto exhibition always attracts multiple international and domestic automakers and auto parts suppliers. It is used as a great platform for exhibitors to launch their new products.

The Beijing auto show in 2020 (Auto China 2020) was also delayed to September of that year from April due to the coronavirus factor as well. At the Auto China 2020, a total of 785 vehicles models were showcased, 82 of which made their world's debut.
