Joyson Electronics projects RMB7.4 billion in Jan.- Feb. revenue

Beijing (ZXZC)- Joyson Electronics, China’s leading component supplier for global automotive manufacturers, is projected to see its Jan. to Feb. revenue reach RMB7.4 billion ($1.17 billion), the company announced on March 10th.

According to Joyson Electronics, in the first two months of 2022, its automotive electronics and safety business departments have successively landed multiple orders from world-leading enterprises, resulting in a cumulative order value of over RMB295 billion ($46.64 billion) at hand. 

Specifically, thanks to the growth in its new energy battery management system operation, the company’s automotive electronics business sector has an estimated revenue of RMB2.2 billion ($347.83 million), increasing 10% year on year. The at-hand automotive electronics order amount has surpassed RMB75 billion ($11.86 billion). 

By virtue of its cutting-edge technology and cost control techniques, Joyson Electronics’ latest intelligent cockpit HMI products have landed multiple orders from an unnamed new energy vehicle startup in China. Notably, the products have already been applied by world-renowned auto moguls, including Porsche, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and more. 

On the other hand, Joyson Electronics’ automotive safety business sector is projected to bring in roughly RMB5.2 billion ($822.15 million) revenue in the past two months of 2022. The company has been expanding its domestic clientele and market share. Currently, its products have been applied to SAIC Motor, BYD, NIO, Li Auto, and XPeng’s supply chain. 

Additionally, the automotive safety business sector secured new domestic orders worth RMB4.2 billion ($664 million) and European orders of RMB4.5 billion ($711.47 million). Joyson Electronics’ American businesses are estimated to see profit in March 2022.
