JAC Group exports 16,000 vehicles overseas from Jan. to Feb.
Beijing (ZXZC)- JAC Group celebrated positive growth in its new energy passenger vehicle sales and export volume, according to its February sales report released on March 7th.

In February, JAC Group sold 35,000 vehicles, with commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles each taking half.
To be specific, the group sold 18,000 commercial vehicles in February, resulting in a cumulative volume of 45,400 vehicles for the first two months of 2022, down 17.36% year over year.
Meanwhile, sales of JAC Group’s passenger vehicle (PV) models summed up to 17,100 vehicles in February, representing a 18.63% increase from a year ago. In the past two months of 2022, the cumulative PV sales volume of the group summed up to 41,200 vehicles, up 11.48% compared to the previous year.
The sales performance of SUVs and battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) are exceptional. In the second month of 2022, JAC Group sold 14,100 SUVs, jumping 44.69% from a year ago. In the meantime, its BEV sector celebrated a 57.18% year-over-year surge, with 10,300 vehicles sold. The cumulative year-on-year growth of BEV sales in the first two months of 2022 amounted to 75.17%.
Additionally, JAC Group managed a 43.94% jump in export volume, compared to the earlier year, with 5,800 vehicles exported overseas. Moreover, the automaker hopes to deliver over 2,000 electric vehicles in Mexico in 2022 and sign 2-3 years of long-term cooperation contracts with major local clients.
