Li Auto adds 5 new delivery centers in January

This month, China’s new energy vehicle startup Li Auto added 5 new delivery centers, including three in Shenzhen, Chengdu and Luoyang, and two temporary centers in Bengbu and Fuyang. As of January 28, Li Auto has a total of 85 delivery centers in 79 cities in China.

Hongqi said to produce new MPV in June

It is reported that Hongqi’s new MPV model, codenamed C095, will be named Q series. The new model’s mass production will start in June and deliveries are expected to commence in the second half of this year.

Local commercial vehicle autonomous driving startup, Qingtian Truck, announced that it had completed an Angel round of investment, raising tens of millions of dollars from 5Y Capital. Qingtian Truck was established in November 2021 by Pan Zhenhao and Sun Youhan, two former executives from China's another autonomous driving company, Pony.ai's commercial vehicle autonomous driving arm, PonyTron.

China imported PV deliveries drop 6.1% YoY in 2021

For the year of 2021, there were 939,109 imported passenger vehicles (PVs) delivered across China, representing a 6.1% decrease year-over-year, according to the Sinomach Automobile Co., Ltd., China's largest dealer of imported vehicles.
