Geely Auto fulfills 76% of 2021's sales goal in first eleven months

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Auto) announced on Monday the new vehicle sales of the Group (collectively referring to Geely Auto and its subsidiaries) reached 1,169,264 units for the first eleven months of 2021, rising around 0.3% from the previous year and fulfilling 76% of the Group's annual sales target of 1.53 million units.

In November, the Group's new vehicle sales stood at 135,869 units, sliding around 10% from the year-ago period, while jumping 22% compared to October.

Geely Auto's new energy and electrified vehicle (NEEV) segment, which is represented by the Geometry A, the Geometry C, and the Emgrand EV, saw its Nov. sales zoom up 137% year on year to 16,161 units. Year-to-date NEEV sales amounted to 81,313 units, leaping 33% from a year earlier.

Geely's BEV-dedicated Geometry brand delivered 6,278 new vehicles in November and attained 14,768 orders, said Geely.

The Group's export volume rose around 11% year on year to 13,065 units in November, hitting the highest monthly level since October 2013. In the Jan.-Nov. period, Geely Auto and its subsidiaries exported a total of 97,883 vehicles, scoring a 61% growth over a year ago.

Sedan, SUV and MPV sales of the Group reached 52,136 units, 83,368 units and 365 units respectively in November. Notably, the flagship SUV Xingyue L achieved all-time high monthly sales.

In November, the sales of LYNK & CO-branded vehicles was 25,003 units (+10% YoY), resulting in 194,670 units of year-to-date sales.
