Great Wall Motor will be building a vehicle and auto parts production plant in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. The two parties intend to take this opportunity to form a multi-industry synergetic cluster for new energy and intelligent vehicles in the city.

Jiangsu Province is currently on the way to making the auto industry its pillar project. Yangzhou has already taken its form as an automotive industrial base in the country. Over 19 auto companies and nearly 300 auto parts suppliers all have their places in the city, including SAIC-VW and JAC Motors.

Coincidently, Great Wall Motor is vigorously expanding its business both domestically and overseas. Aside from the auto group’s already established lines, HAVAL, WEY, ORA, new high-end EV brand Shalong was introduced at the just ended Auto Guangzhou 2021.
