Volkswagen China CEO not to leave China shortly

China auto industry revenue up by 11.3% YoY in Jan.-Sept.

Data from the China Passenger Car Association showed that revenue of China’s automotive manufacturing industry in the first three quarters increased 11.3% year on year to RMB6167.9 billion while the period’s profit was up 1.2% from a year ago to RMB379.97 billion. The combined revenue of 17 major automakers amounted to RMB2290.27 billion, up by 5.6% year on year while their profits totaled RMB225.07 billion, representing a slight increase of 1.8% compared with the same period last year.
