The ZXZC Award, having received great attention from the industry, is set to recording the efforts and commitment executives have made for China’s auto industry. A committee is responsible for deciding the leaders with the most market value, based on a wide range of factors, including strategic transformation, execution, business changes, product innovation, industrial influence.

The Most Influential People in Chinese Auto Industry of 2021 are as follows (in no particular order).

Zhang Yilin, Regional CEO Greater China, Schaeffler Holding (China) Co., Ltd.

With his rich management experience in international companies and auto parts suppliers, Dr. Zhang Yilin is committed to the technology advancement and product innovation for enterprises and has done a good job in combining the technical advantages from Germany companies with local characteristics of China’s market to promote the development of China’s auto industry.

Wu Wenguang, executive president of Thundersoft

As the executive president of Thundersoft, Mr. Wu Wenguang is mainly responsible for the operating system provider’s automotive business as well as the company’s organization development and cultural construction. By virtue of his over 20 years’ management experience, Mr. Wu plays a leading role in the expansion and development of Thundersoft’s automotive business and helps to empower more than 200 customers in auto industry along with other partners.

 Shen Weiming, Senior Vice President, General Manager at Automotive Asia Pacific of TE Connectivity

Mr. Shen Weiming now serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Automotive Asia Pacific of TE Connectivity. He is responsible for the strategy formulation, management, and execution of the company’s Asia Pacific automotive business. In his years in TE, Mr. Shen sticks to adopting innovative and disruptive approaches and embraces industry changes. Thanks to his localization strategies in China and Asia Pacific, TE’s automotive business sector in Asia Pacific achieves sustainable development amid supply chain transformation.

Grégoire Cuny, CEO of Vitesco Technologies China

Since June, 2018, Mr. Grégoire Cuny starts to serve as Continental’s vice president, head of powertrain division in China & Korea. After the powertrain division was renamed and restructured as Vitesco Technologies, Mr. Cuny became CEO of Vitesco Technologies China.

Zhang Xi, executive vice president, Business Unit China of Veoneer

Mr. Zhang Xi is executive vice president of Veoneer, and president of Veoneer Business China. During his 20-years working experience in automotive industry, Mr. Zhang devotes himself to the engineering, project management, operation and sales in auto industry and makes great contribution to the development, prosperity, maturity and transformation of the industry.

Zhuo Jingsong, director and general manager of Guangdong Han's Laser Technology Industry Group

Mr. Zhuo Jingsong plays an important role in leading the company’s design and planning of equipment manufacturing for the automotive safety system, promoting the design, project approval, technical evaluation, industry application innovation, industry technology application of the company’s innovative high-precision automotive airbag laser cutting equipment. His innovative insights on the automotive safety system and the application of automotive materials laser technology help the company to achieve continuous breakthroughs in the research and development of automotive laser equipment.

Cao Bin, general manager of Neusoft Reach Automotive Technology

Mr. Cao Bin has 26 years’ experience in the development of automotive electronics, basic software and cyber security. He is also a member of China’s National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization, the first rotating chairman of China Automotive Basic Software Ecosystem Committee, and the chairman of Battery System Branch of National Innovation Alliance. Besides, Mr. Cao is also a winner of the 2nd-class National Science and Technology Progress Awards.

Liu Tong, general manager of Autonomous Driving Business China at NVIDIA

As the general manager of NVIDIA’s autonomous driving business in China, Mr. Liu Tong leads the company’s business expansion and ecosystem building in the segment. Before this role, he once served as the general manager of NVIDIA’s HPC (High Education research, supercomputing, government labs, Oil&Gas ) business and emerging markets. Earlier, Mr. Liu took such roles as technical consultant, senior manager of technology marketing, business development director and senior director in Mellanox, Dell and HP.

Ying Yilun, founder and CEO of Shanghai PATEO

Mr. Ying Yilun takes it as a mission to lead the ultimate experience of intelligent vehicles and reconstruct the lifestyle of mobile space. By virtue of innovative concepts and efficient management, he has achieved great results in the company’s management innovation, business model innovation, intellectual property innovation, new technology innovation. PATEO, he founded in 2009, has become the honoree of many awards.

Zhang Qiang, chairman of Nanjing Semidrive Technology Ltd.

Mr. Zhang Qiang, chairman of Semidrive, has over 20 years’ marketing and sales experience in automotive electronics and semiconductor products. Within only three years after the establishment of PATEO, a high-tech enterprise focusing on high-reliability and high-performance automotive SoC, his team has completed the technology and market development of three chips. Products from the company have been recognized by major automakers and suppliers, including FAW Group, SAIC Motor.
