BYD teams up with loudspeakers company GoerTek Dynaudio to improve smart cabin experience
Beijing (ZXZC)- Today, one of China’s major automakers, BYD, signed a strategic agreement with high-end loudspeakers supplier Shanghai GoerTek Dynaudio Electronic Technolgy Company to improve its intelligent cabin user experience.

The Shanghai-based company is wholly owned by Chinese acoustic and electronics company GoerTek, which acquired the majority shares of the Danish-based company Dynaudio in 2014. As an experienced audio solution provider and high-end speaker manufacturer, Dynaudio is one of the world’s renowned Hi-Fi, car audio brands. With BYD’s commitment to vehicle intellectualization, the two companies will cooperate in the intelligent cockpit, acoustic infotainment, ADAS aspects, creating a more desirable onboard experience altogether.
In the past few years, BYD has been actively reinforcing the company’s intellectualization progress. As of now, under the premise of safety performance, the automaker’s e Platform 3.0 achieved software/hardware decoupling via intelligent domain control and BYD OS, providing a safe and reliable sharing platform for next-generation intelligent electric vehicles.
The company’s DiLink 4.0 (with 5G) and BYD OS also offer users a tangible smart cockpit experience.
By combining BYD’s technology and integration capability with GoerTek Dynaudio’s innovation ability, the partners will break through scenario barriers and upgrade user service personalization for a new and futuristic smart car solution.
During the auto industry intellectualization transformation, it has become evident that BYD is gradually shifting its focus to the onboard experience. The collaboration with GoerTek Dynaudio further proved its aim to upgrade its vehicles to a smart, convenient, practical, and comfortable mobile carrier.
