JAC Group’s Oct. BEV sales almost double YoY
Beijing (ZXZC)- One of China's major automakers, JAC Group, witnessed a prominent passenger vehicle sales result in October, and its overall export volume more than doubled year on year.

According to data released by JAC Group, the group sold 37,000 vehicles in October, resulting in a total of 433,000 vehicles sold for the first ten months this year, up 15.4% from a year ago.
The passenger vehicles sector saw a 16.26% increase year on year in monthly sales, to 17,000 vehicles last month. Accumulated sales volume amounted to 200,000 vehicles from January to October, soaring 63% from the previous year.
Specifically, the group's battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) were sold 11,000 vehicles in October, almost doubled (up by 94.4%) from the same month last year. During the past ten months, the BEV sales managed a 175.5% year-on-year surge, at 101,000 vehicles in total.
Moreover, JAC's mini-EV, the SEHOL E10X, surpassed the 10,000 monthly order milestone for the first time in October.
With 14,000 vehicles sold in October, the group's SUV sector saw a 40.7% increase from the earlier year. Cumulative sales volume was 152,000 vehicles for the first ten months this year, soaring 131.5% year on year.
Additionally, the group has sold 29,000 MPVs this year so far, edging up 4.5% from 2020.
JAC Group's overseas sales performance is also promising. With 4,000 vehicles sold in October, the cumulative export volume of the group amounted to nearly 61,000 vehicles this year, surging 113% year on year.
