In October, Leapmotor has received new vehicle orders totaling 12,835 vehicles, surging 47% from the previous month's 8,754 vehicles. Accumulative order volume of this year by October amounted to 57,251 vehicles.

Leapmotor's third production model and the first battery-electric SUV model, the C11, was ordered by 4,248 consumers in October, more than tripled its order volume month-on-month (by 259.7%).  In addition, the C11 went on sale on September 28th and started delivery in October.

Leapmotor's mainstay, the T03, continued to grow in order volume. In October, the company reported 8,575 T03s ordered, increasing 13.71% from a month ago.

On the other hand, delivery results kept decreasing for months. The auto startup managed to deliver 3,654 vehicles in October, indicating a 10% decline month-on-month but still a 256% increase year on year.

The yet-to-solve chip shortage and industrial electricity rationing dragged down production, the company explained.

For the first ten months this year, Leapmotor has delivered 29,686 vehicles, roughly half of its total order number of the same period, at 57,251 vehicles.
