High-end EV brand VOYAH hits 1,000 mark in Oct. deliveries
Beijing (ZXZC)- The premium EV brand of Dongfeng Motor, VOYAH, reported its monthly deliveries had surpassed the 1,000 vehicles milestone for the first time in October, the third month since delivery started.
According to VOYAH, deliveries of the FREE, the brand’s only model on the market, reached 1,006 vehicles in October, increasing 10.8% from the previous month. The accumulated delivery volume of the FREE was 2,322 vehicles for the three months it hit the market.
Two days ago, the FREE welcomed a new two-wheel-drive battery-electric version, priced at RMB348,600 ($54,465). The new vehicle is powered by a single electric motor with maximum output up to 255 kW. The new model has a battery-powered NEDC of 505 kilometers.

As of now, VOYAH has accumulated users in 140 Chinese cities.
As an user-driven automaker, the brand has scheduled its first OTA update in December 2021. The OTA will cover 42 optmized upgrades, and 8 new functions including onboard Karaoke. The brand promised its users a quarterly OTA update service to promote a better mobility experience.
Additionally, the VOYAH brand disclosed at an event that it would bring a new MPV model to the public soon. The new model will be the first high-end battery-electric MPV in the world.
The MPV will debut at the coming Guangzhou Auto Show, the company added.
