Chery Holding completes 200,000 annual export target with three months to spare
Beijing (ZXZC)- Chery Holding celebrated another new record of monthly passenger vehicle export volume in October.

According to the company’s October performance report, Chery Holding sold 88,342 vehicles, increasing 16.7% from the previous month and edging up a little than the earlier year. For the first ten months, despite many challenges in the auto industry, Chery Holding still maintained its rapid growth in sales, with a total of 739,730 vehicles sold in the first ten months this year, 44.3% more than a year ago.
The group has finished its annual export target of 200,000 vehicles ahead of time. It successfully became the first Chinese brand that exported over 200,000 vehicles overseas annually, at 212,959 vehicles to be specific, skyrocketing 145.7% year on year. In October alone, the company shipped 25,049 vehicles, surging 92.7% from a year ago and setting another new monthly export record for Chinese passenger vehicle brands.
Thanks to the brand’s fast product iteration, with new models coming out every month, EXEED, the group’s premium brand, sold 5,015 vehicles in October worldwide, more than doubled (by 132.1%) year on year.

Chery brand’s popular Tiggo SUV series continued to drive sales, as the brand sold 63,566 vehicles in October, up 16.45% from a year ago. From January to October, its accumulative sales volume was 502,181 vehicles, surging 58.5% compared to the earlier year.
With 11,136 vehicles sold in October, Chery Holding’s JETOUR brand saw a 39.5% increase in year-to-date sales volume, totaling 114,685 vehicles.
The new energy sector of the auto group achieved remarkable results, with 73,680 vehicles sold in the past ten months this year, indicating a 157.3% rise from 2020. New energy passenger vehicles of the group realized a 131.7% year-on-year growth to 62,746 vehicles to date.
Especially Chery’s classic micro-EV model, the eQ1’s monthly deliveries crossed the 10,000 vehicles milestone in October.

As of now, Chery Holding has attracted 9.8 million users worldwide, 1.9 million of which are international consumers, further strengthening the company’s global market layout.
