Li Auto delivers 7,649 vehicles in October, with over 14,500 orders

Beijing (ZXZC)- China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) startup Li Auto delivered 7,649 vehicles in October, surging 107.2% year on year and increasing by 7.26% month over month, according to the company.

By the end of October, Li Auto’s year-to-date deliveries this year amounted to 62,919 vehicles, soaring 188% from a year ago. The cumulative deliveries ever since the delivery commencement totaled 96,516 vehicles.

The automaker announced at the end of last month that it had achieved the production milestone of 100,000 vehicles. Mr. Shen Yanan, president of Li Auto, said that it only took the company 708 days to realize the milestone, the fastest among China’s local automobile startups.

“New orders of the Li ONE surpassed 14,500 in October, and currently we are working with our suppliers to ensure the supply of millimeter wave radars and make the waiting time for customers to take delivery as short as possible,” the president added.

As of October 31, 2021, the automaker had 162 retail stores in 86 cities, as well as 223 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 165 cities. With 12 self-owned delivery centers added last month, Li Auto had a total of 65 self-owned delivery centers by the end of last month. In the last two months of this year, it will further expand its delivery network.
