Shanghai Lutuan Technology Co.,Ltd., an affiliated company of Meituan-Dianping's ride-hailing arm Meituan Dache, established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Beijing on Oct. 19, according to Tianyancha. Dubbed Beijing Lutuan Technology, the subsidiary involves a registered capital of 5 million yuan ($781,670). It has a business scope covering car rental service and the operation of ride-hailing service and road passenger transport.
