Schaeffler Greater China names new president for Automotive Technologies division

Beijing (ZXZC)- Global auto parts supplier Schaeffler today announced that Mr. Chen Xiangbin will succeed Mr. Yang Hanbing as the president of Automotive Technologies division of Schaeffler Greater China, effective January 1, 2022.

Mr. Yang Hanbing left the company half a month ago to explore new career opportunities. In the interim period, Zhang Yilin, Regional CEO Greater China at Schaeffler will serve as president of the division, the company added in a statement.

The new president, who had a doctorate degree in machine engineering, started its work in Schaeffler from 2006 as a test engineer. In the following years, he has held positions in various technical and management posts. In January, 2020, he was pointed as vice president of transmission business of Schaeffler Greater China and became the head of engine system unit of Schaeffler Greater China in January this year.

With professional technology background and rich management experience, the new president, with his team, is expected to push forward the group’s automotive business.
