HUAWEI’s MDC supplier Huanyu Zhixing raises RMB50 million in A-round

Beijing (ZXZC)- China’s autonomous driving start-up Wuhan Huanyu Zhixing Technology Co., Ltd., completed its A-round financing for RMB 50million from VeriSilicon Microelectronics, according to the corporate data platform Qichacha. The company will put the funds into laying out the company’s chip R&D and improving the computing power of the company’s products.

In March and May this year, Huanyu Zhixing received over RMB100 million in total through two rounds of financing.

Founded in 2014, the company focuses on development of algorithms and computing platforms for autonomous driving. Huanyu Zhixing is a software development partner of Huawei MDC and China Mobile's intelligent connected driving equipment supplier.

Currently, Huanyu Zhixing boasts several technologies in the autonomous driving field, covering L2-L4 in both hardware and software. For example, using its L4 framework, the company has developed more than a dozen self-driving courier models for automakers like SAIC Motor Group, Dongfeng Motor, and WM Motor. 

According to Huanyu’s pre-A funder, the company has been developing domain controllers for autonomous driving, which now have come into service. The company's clients includes Dongfeng Motor, Hongqi Auto and other automakers.
