China’s automobile sales in July likely to drop 13.8% YoY

China’s automobile sales in July are expected to reach 1.82 million vehicles, down 13.8% year on year and 9.7% month on month, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). Monthly passenger vehicle sales may decline 11.2% from a year ago while commercial vehicle sales may drop 27.1% year on year.

Nissan China July sales drop 20.8% YoY

Nissan China, including passenger vehicle segment and light commercial vehicle segment, sold 95,783 vehicles in China in July, representing a year-on-year decrease of 20.8%. For the first seven months of this year, the Japanese automaker sold a total of 802,133 vehicles in China, up 11.8% from a year ago.
