Geely Auto February sales jump 265% year on year
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (called “Geely Auto” for short) and its subsidiaries sold a total of 77,221 new vehicles in February, a precipitous increase of roughly 265% from the year-ago period, the company announced on March 8.

For the first two months of 2021, the Group (referring to Geely Auto and its subsidiaries) sold 233,547 new vehicles, representing a growth of 76% compared to the same period a year ago and achieving more than 15% of its full-year sales target of 1.53 million units.

Of the vehicles sold during the Jan.-Feb. period, 6,828 units were new energy and electrified vehicles (NEEVs), including the Geometry As, the Geometry Cs, the Emgrand EVs and the Emgrand GSes, of which 2,539 units were sold last month.
Geely Auto said the Group's year-to-date export volume grew more than twofold year over year to 17,353 units, while its domestic sales leapt 69% from a year ago to 216,194 units for the same period.

In February, Geely Auto's sales of sedans, SUVs and MPVs amounted to 31,223 units, 45,473 units and 525 units respectively.
As for the performance of specific models, the Group last month sold 1,731 Haoyue seven-seater SUVs, 525 Jiaji MPVs, 795 ICON SUVs and 6,764 vehicles from the Vision family.

In February, the sales of Lynk & Co-branded vehicles were 11,825 units, up more than fourfold year over year. The brand is about to deliver the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture)-based Lynk & Co 01 SUVs in Europe.
